      The Indian auto industry, which has faced setback this year with sluggish demands, look forward to the ongoing festive season for a boost in their sales. The Indian car-makers have launched 6 cars in just about a week to woo the Indian buyers.

      Maruti Alto 800, from the stables of the largest car maker of the country, is among the 6 cars that have been launched this festive season. The all new Alto 800 has been priced between Rs. 2.44 lacs and Rs. 3.56 lacs for the various variants and has already become a hit among the buyers. Maruti had received 10,000 pre-launch bookings for this highly anticipated car making it a hit even before its launch.

      Tata Motors too, in order to lure buyers and make the most of the festive season has come up with its two new models. The first to be launched was Tata Manza on 16th October 2012 which was followed by the all new Tata safari Storme SUV on 17th October 2012. While the Manza is priced between Rs. 5.7 and Rs. 8.77 lacs, the Storme has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 9.95 lacs (ex-showroom Delhi).

      Another much awaited car from the stables of Mahindra, the SsangYong Rexton hit the roads on 17th October at a starting price of Rs. 17.67 lacs. This 7 seater SUV has been widely acclaimed worldwide and has created enthusiasm among the Indian car lovers too.

      Honda too has come up with its Brio AT model to increase its sales this festive season. Honda Brio AT hatchback has been launched on 18th October at a starting price of Rs. 5.74 lacs (ex-showroom Delhi). This hatchback, having a dashing look and a good fuel economy, has all the necessary ingredients to make a good number of trusted customers.

      Another car that made its way on the Indian roads recently is the Ford Figo facelift. The car has a price tag of Rs. 3.85 and Rs. 4.82 lacs for the base petrol and base diesel variant respectively. The new facelifted Figo is likely to do a good business just like its previous sibling.

      These six cars have definitely multiplied the joy of people who wish to take home a car this festive season.
