Czech automaker Skoda had recently showcased the new Superb sedan at the 2015 Geneva Auto Show. If sources are to be believed, the company may launch the new trim sometime by mid-2016. Just months ahead of unveiling, sources have spotted the new trim undergoing road test in the country.
The one spotted is stated to be based on the L&K trim, hence it is expected that it would be offered with many interesting features. The new trim stated to be based on the MQB platform is slightly lighter in weight. The company shall offer the new model with existing 1.8 Litre and 2.0 Litre turbo engines that would be offered in manual as well automatic transmission options.
The new Skoda Superb oozes style with more angular design. The company has improved the wheelbase by about 80mm, whereas the length has been increased by about 28mm. Additionally, the company has also offered three drive modes, Smartlink infotainment system, new powerful audio system and heated seats.
