      Harley-Davidson tweaks up Iron 883, Forty-Eight and Street 750

      Legendary American bike maker, Harley-Davidson, has updated its Indian portfolio of models which include 2016 Iron 83, Forty-Eight and Street 750. These updates concentrate on improving the performance, appeal and also addition of features over standard offerings.

      “This year, Harley-Davidson has introduced its refreshed Dark Custom models with the new Iron 883, Forty-Eight and carried out customer-led improvements in the Street 750 motorcycle that offer an authentic, affordable experience to a new generation of riders in India. Keeping up with our customer’s demands, we have also added more power to our range with the return of the Road King and engine upgrades throughout the ranges of the Softail making it our most powerful lineup of cruiser models ever.” said Pallavi Singh, Director Marketing, Harley-Davidson India.

      The Iron 883 has a minimalistic design language and though the overall structure has been left intact, the new adjustable rear shocks and front cartridge forks have improved the motorcycle’s stability and comfort thus making ideal for city and highway conditions. The straight cut exhaust pipes with a low placed handlebar and an abruptly chopped rear fender make it look unique. The Iron 883 also gets a brand new Black Denim shade. It is priced at INR 7,37,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi)

      Street 750, which also happens to be a popular model on sale, has got 2016 updates in the form of new front and rear braking system and improved wire loom routing. It also gets a new Superior Blue shade. The Street 750 is a motorcycle which combines the best of cruiser experience paired with an urban handler. Powered by a liquid-cooled Revolution X V-Twin engine, the Street 750 offers Dark Custom Style with an aggressive attitude. The Street 720 is now available at INR 4,52,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi)

      Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight gets new seat, mag wheels and wider 49mm forks with adjustable rear suspension. Its quirky peanut shaped fuel tank which can hold a modest 8-litre fuel tank. It gets ‘70s inspired graphics and floating brake rotors with darkened exhaust to give it a refreshed look. This one gets a Velocity Red Sunglo shade. Also, HD has updated the Heritage Softail Classic with a high output Twin Cam 103 motor in addition to new saddlebags and standard cruise control.
