Recently images have surfaced on the Internet showing the 2016 Ford Endeavour reportedly featuring a manual gearbox system. The Chinese media have managed to capture the images of the camouflaged vehicle that was reportedly undergoing road test in the region. In China, teh vehicle is likely to launched late in second quarter of this year. Detailed design specs on the vehicle is unknown for now as most part of the vehicle had been well camouflaged. Based on what could be seen, the vehicle may receive a new matte silver hexagonal three-slat grille along with a conventional headlamps in black plastic housing for the indicators and lens.
The upcoming vehicle is likely to be available in petrol as well as diesel trims. Based on reports the vehicle gets 2.2-liter unit that produces about 147.5 bhp of power with 385 Nm of torque. The 3.2 Liter engine generates about 197 bhp of power and 470 Nm of torque. The 2.0 liter petrol engine is capable of generating about 234 bhp and 360 Nm of torque. The vehicle comes mated with 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Pricing aspect is unknown for now, but is likely to be priced under 25 Lakhs bracket.
