      Updated Hero HF Dawn launched; priced at Rs. 39,370

      Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has introduced a refreshed version of its entry level commuter, the HF Dawn. The entry-level commuter gets few exterior changes and addition features. This bike is priced at Rs. 39,370 (ex-showroom).

      The Hero HF Dawn is equipped with a metal carrier fixed securely just behind the pillion seat, which further enhances the luggage carrying capability. This entry level commuter provides an upright riding position and an extended saddle for comfort. Its console also features a good side-stand engaged indicator.

      The Hero HF Dawn is powered by a small, 97.2cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that churns out a maximum power output of 8.2bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 0.82kgm at 5,000rpm. Power is transferred to roads via a four-speed gearbox.

      The suspension mechanism of the bike comprises of telescopic forks and dual shocks at front and rear respectively. It comes equipped with drum brakes, no disc type braking mechanism on offer. Weighing just 109kg, the Hero HF Dawn comes with a large fuel-tank capacity of 10.5-litres. The entry level commuter is available in five shades- Silver, Red, Maroon, black with purple, and black with Red.
