About MG Air EV
MG Motor has been working on a new small EV for the Indian market. The new model is expected to be introduced in the first half of 2023 and will be positioned below the ZS EV. The new small EV will be priced between Rs 10-15 lakh (ex-showroom).
The company claims that the upcoming MG small EV will be based on an international platform. The technical details are not known for now. That said, we expect the vehicle to return a driving range of approximately 300kms on a single charge. Post launch, the MG’s small EV is expected to compete against the likes of the Tata Nexon EV in India.
The new model is likely to be offered with the latest onboard technology. More details will be known in the days to come.
