The Kia EV5 is expected to be offered in at least three variants.

Feature list

Exterior

The outside of the Kia EV5 looks much like the EV9 with flared wheel arches, wheels with aerodynamic spats, wrap-around taillamps, and low-set headlamps. It has more of a square stance than a crossover appearance. The car shown in the pictures is a production-ready model.

Interior

Inside, the EV5 picks up much of its design cues from the other Kia cars with the opposite united philosophy. As a part of the cabin, you get dual digital displays, touch-sensitive AC and steering controls, four-spoke steering wheel, wireless charging pad, and a standard brown over-beige colour scheme.

Engine and specifications

The EV5 is powered by a 160kW battery pack producing 215bhp and 310Nm. It sends power to the front wheels via a single-speed transmission.

Safety

The Kia EV5 has not been tested for crash test safety rating by a GNCAP body yet.

Competition

The Kia EV5 is expected to take on models from Hyundai, Skoda, Volkswagen, Suzuki, and Toyota.
