Skoda Octavia facelift

Model launch date:

Skoda could introduce the new Octavia later this year.

Feature list:

Exterior highlights of the new Octavia facelift will include a set of tweaked matrix LED headlamps, revised grille, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and a set of new 19-inch alloy wheels.

The interior of the sedan will boast features including a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 15W wireless charger, 45W type-C charging ports, dark chrome inserts, refreshed interior theme and fabrics, and a 10-inch fully digital instrument console, the latter being available as standard.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

Under the hood, the global-spec Octavia, in its facelifted avatar, will be offered with a range of 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines, as well as 1.5-litre iterations in the petrol form. These engines will be mated with six-speed manual and seven-speed DSG units. Skoda has not revealed details regarding the engine on the India-spec model at the moment.

Variants:

The 2024 Octavia is likely to be offered in Style and L&K variants.

Safety:

The refreshed Octavia has not been tested by an NCAP body as yet.

Competition:

Currently, there are no direct rivals to the new Octavia.
