Hyundai Tucson facelift

Model launch date:

The facelifted Hyundai Tucson could be launched in India towards the end of 2024.

Feature list:

In the design department, the updated Tucson will get reworked front and rear bumpers, new grille, and a set of new alloy wheels. Apart from these, the model will remain largely unchanged compared to its predecessor.

Inside, the premium five-seat SUV will now come equipped with twin 12.3-inch displays on the dashboard, new three-spoke steering wheel, tweaked dashboard and centre console, and a new gear lever. The previous iteration already received features like dual-zone climate control, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

Under the hood, the new Tucson facelift is likely to be powered by the same set of 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines. Transmission options include six-speed and eight-speed automatic units.

Variants:

The refreshed Tucson could be offered in two variants, namely Platinum and Signature.

Safety:

The 2024 Tucson has not been tested by an NCAP body as yet.

Competition:

Once launched, the Tucson facelift will compete against the Volkswagen Tiguan, Jeep Compass, and the Citroen C5 Aircross.
