About Toyota Hyryder
New spy shots shared on the web have revealed that Toyota could be working on a Wagon R-based EV, and a leaked trademark also suggests that it could be known as the Hyryder.
The Toyota Hyryder gets a redesigned front bumper with split LED headlamps, a single slat grille, revised air intake with black inserts, and LED fog lights, and a single slat grille. The side profile features black alloy wheels borrowed from the Maruti Ignis while the posterior receives a reworked bumper with vertical reflectors and a black insert, as well as a tweaked set of tail lights.
A peek at the interiors of the Toyota Hyryder reveals that the model could get subtle updates such as an instrument console from the previous-gen Wagon R, a horizontally-positioned MID, and a new climate control system with a digital display.
Details regarding the powertrain of the Toyota Hyryder EV remain unknown at the moment. The model could be powered by a battery that is likely to return a range of 200kms. In terms of pricing, the Hyryder is likely to be priced considerably higher than the ICE-powered Wagon R that it is based on.
