      Yamaha Saluto - Factors that make it a good preposition

      Japanese-Indian bike manufacturer Yamaha India has added another model to its portfolio in order to increase its share in the country’s market. The automaker has launched a 125-cc bike named Saluto at an ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs. 52,000. This motorcycle was introduced at the firm’s production facility in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. According to claims made by the company, this bike is the lightest in its segment (125 cc bikes) and is suitable for families that want an economical vehicle with high efficiency.

      This bike is fitted with a single-cylinder air-cooled drivetrain that has a displacement of 125-cc and features a four-speed transmission system. The 125-cc engine enables this car to deliver an output of around 8.2 BHP along with peak torque of 10.1 Nm. Since this bike has been launched to target buyers in the entry-level segment, Yamaha India claims that the fuel economy of Saluto is a colossal 78 kmpl.

      As far as dimensions are concerned, the bike is 2035 mm, 1080 mm and 700 mm in length, height and width, respectively. The wheelbase of this bike is 125 mm and it has a ground clearance of 180 mm. Masaki Asano, Managing Director of Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd., spoke about this bike at its launch. "The new Saluto is intended to expand sales in the largest demand category in India by offering one of the best fuel economy performances in the 125cc class," he said.
