Maruti Suzuki, the largest passenger car maker in India, has introduced a new limited edition version of its Celerio hatchback, named VXi+. This new mid-level model is expected to pull in some decent volumes for the car maker in the ongoing festive season. It must be noted that this limited edition model is designed on the VXi trim and offers accessories worth Rs. 20,000 at a discounted price of Rs. 13,990.

The main highlights of Maruti Suzuki Celerio VXi+ include body colored door handles, outer rear view mirrors with integrated indicators, double-din music system and central locking system with remote. Along with this, the remaining equipment of the new car are same as the standard VXi version. Also, there has been no technical upgraders in the car as it features the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder K-Series petrol engine that churns out a maximum power of 67 bhp with 90 Nm of peak torque. Buyers can choose from a transmission option of either 5-speed manual or company’s flagship Automated Manual Transmission (AMT).

With all the above mentioned features, the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio VXi+ limited edition model is priced somewhere around Rs. 4.19 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), which makes it a fair deal. Sources close to the development process have hinted that the company is also planning to launch the new variants of Swift and Swift DZire models in the near future.
