To cash on the ongoing festivities in the country, TVS has added two new colour options to the range of its popular scooter, Jupiter. The two new colour options added to Jupiter’s range include Sparkling Silver and Matte Beige colours. Along with these two, the 110cc, automatic scooter is available in four other colour options-Volcano Red, Midnight Black, Titanium Grey and Pristine White.
Underpinning the same platform as its sibling scooter Wego, Jupiter houses a 109.7cc, air-cooled engine that is capable of developing top power output of 7.88 Bhp along with 8 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes matched to a CVT, suspension set up comprises of a telescopic front and a single sided coil spring suspension at the rear. On the outside, the vehicle gets relatively large 12-inch wheels. In its segment, Jupiter rivals the likes of Honda Activa 110, Suzuki Let’s, Mahindra Gusto (upcoming) and Yamaha Ray Z.
Other than Jupiter that aims at the single user male customers, the company also offers popular scooters including Wego that aims at the dual user customers, while there are also options including Scooty Zest, Pep+ and Streak that target at single user female customers.
