The Indian unit of the Germany based leading car maker Volkswagen is offering heavy discounts on their best selling cars like Polo and Vento. The move has been taken in a bid to capitalize on the high demand for cars during the ongoing festive season.
As per the recent media reports, the company is offering a heavy discount of up the Rs 55,000 on the specific variants of hatchback Volkswagen Polo. On the other hand, the Vento model is available with a discount of up to Rs 70,000 for select variants. The lucrative discount scheme end on 25th September’12, and both petrol and diesel variants of the Polo and Vento are eligible for this discount.
Moreover, the company has come-up with an exciting finance scheme, under which it will be offering a much cheaper interest rate of 5.99 percent on the car loan.
Since their debut in India, both Polo and Vento have been leading the sales chart of the German car maker in India. Besides Polo and Vento, the other India portfolio cars of the company include Iconic Beetle, premium sedans Jetta and Passat and luxury SUV Touareg.
