Following with India’s craze for Indian Premier League (IPL) and cricket, Volkswagen Indian has come up with the special IPL editions of its famous brands, Polo and the Vento. With these special editions, the company shows its tie up with the IPL. Introducing special editions and associating its vehicles with IPL is not for the first time with Volkswagen, as the company has participated in these activities earlier also. However, special editions of Vento and the Polo will be tagged with the same price and their deliveries will start from the first week of April.
As far as advancements of these cars are concerned, Polo and Vento feature an interactive car-pad that has a touch screen multimedia player. This multimedia player includes advance navigation system with certain social networking options for rear passengers. Availability of features like USB interface, iPod control and inbuilt Micro SD card slot add to the convenience of its passengers. In addition to these, new editions of Polo and the Vento also support MP3/WMA formats with interface for parking assist and Bluetooth connectivity.
Along with this advanced technology, the interiors of both the cars are sophisticatedly designed that provides a lush feel to its passengers. Moreover, the comfortable leatherette seats and strategically designed door sill with engraved IPL logo offers a warm welcome to its occupants.
On the launch of these special editions, Mr. Neeraj Garg, Director and MOD of Volkswagen passenger cars India, said, “Last year we launched our first action model the Vento IPL Edition and there on introduced the Breeze models of both the Polo and the Vento. The immense response we received towards these special editions has prompted us to continue with the IPL Editions and this time with both our popular car lines-the Polo and the Vento”.
