Maruti Suzuki Celerio is probably the first hatchback from India’s largest passenger car manufacturer that has not been able to make much of an impact in the market. This, by any means, is not to say that it has done badly in India, however, it has not become a customer favourite, which most Maruti Suzuki models end up being. Industry experts feel that the success of Hyundai Grand i10 has overshadowed all other models in its segment. However, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio has earned praise from a number of critics, who claim that it is ideal for families living in the city. Let’s take a look at all variants of Maruti Suzuki Celerio.

This hatchback comes fitted with a K10B aluminium engine that displaces 998 cc. Maruti Suzuki Celerio produces an output of around 67 BHP and peak torque of 90 Nm. According to the official website of the car, “The all new manual transmission of the Celerio has been developed to offer a peppy and smooth drive. This next generation transmission reduces mechanical losses and aids improvement in fuel economy in the car. It also enables effortless gear shift operation. An experience that will ensure a Dil Uchhling experience for you as soon as you sit behind the wheel.”
