      Upcoming Hyundai ix25 spotted undergoing road test in Belgaum, Karnataka

      Korean carmaker Hyundai has gained a good footing in the Indian market with over a decade of presence in the country. The latest of the offering from the carmaker is a compact SUV named ix25 that had been showcased at public events in the past. The much awaited compact SUV has been spotted again this time around undergoing road test in Belgaum, Karnataka. Of the two vehicles being tested, one featured alloy wheels, whereas the other had steel rims. Apart from this not other major notable difference could be seen. Both the trims featured blinker-infused OVRMs and roof rails, thereby indicating a possibility that it could come as a standard offering.

      Hyundai has not spoken on the pricing aspect or technical aspect yet, but it is likely that the upcoming vehicle is likely to be powered by 1.6 Liter engine with Automatic and Manual transmission options that has been serving the Verna trim in the country. It is likely that that car maybe launched sometime during the festive season this year, and it is also believed that the compact SUV may be built at the new upcoming plant that is being set-up at a cost of about INR 1,000 Crore where its shall try and achieve localization of about 90%.

      Speaking of dynamics the new Hyundai ix25 is likely to feature dynamics of about 4,270 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width, and about 1,630 mm in height. The top end trim is likely to receive panoramic sunroof, LED daytime running lamps, touchscreen infotainment system, Electric mirrors, automatic climate control, reverse parking camera, LED daytime running lamps, key-less start and much more. The pricing aspect is unknown for now but based on anticipation it is likely to be offered around Rs. 10 Lakhs bracket.
