Italian car-maker had recently dropped hints about launch of Punto face-lift sometime soon in the Indian market. Post split from Tata Motors in the country a while ago, the Italian car-maker had been struggling to add up numbers on the sales charts amidst stiff competition from Indian and International car-makers in this segment. Now with a fresh face on the cards from the Fiat’s stable, sales are expected to end on a positive note by the end of 2014. German car-maker Volkswagen has been known for quality cars across all segments on a global level. The car-maker in a bid to gel with the local car-market has been making an effort to bring down the car prices by procuring spares that are manufactured in the local market.
