Rumours surfacing on the internet have suggested that a possible new model from British bike manufacturer Triumph was photographed doing test runs in the United Kingdom. The test model, according to images, sported a style similar to the Bonneville 865 cc bike. This resemblance has further fuelled speculations that Triumph is planning to launch a new classic bike with larger capacity.

It is being said that the new Bonneville is going to be fitted with a liquid-cooled parallel-twin drivetrain that has a displacement of 1100 cc. The engine is expected to propel the new Bonneville to produce a power level of 90 BHP, which is around 22 BHP more than 865 cc-powered bike.

In 2014, two café racer bikes from Triumph with same design and drivetrain were seen testing in Spain. The styling in the bikes was similar to Thruxton but the suspension systems were different. These traits suggest that the models would be sold in an ‘R’ trim along with a standard version. Some experts believe that these bikes are likely to be showcased for the first time at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, which will held later in 2015.
