Japanese automaker Toyota has been growing at a steady rate in the Indian market. In the utility vehicle segment, Toyota has been a brillian performer owing to some of the popular models like Innova, Fortuner and the yesteryear Qualis. On certain instances in the past, sources had managed to capture spy shots of the Rush SUV undergoing road test in the country, thereby hinting on possible launch.
This time around, sources have stated that the much awaited Toyota Rush is expected to be launched sometime in 2017. The company has not yet revealed on the technical specs for the vehicle yet and it shall be revealed at a later date. For now, sources believe that the vehicle may be offered with a rear-wheel drive option along with an optional 4-wheel drive system.
In terms of features, the Rush SUV from Toyota is expected to be a seven seater vehicle. The third row seating is likely to have 50:50 split design. Moreover, the second row may also get a 50:50 split with reclining function. In terms of safety, the vehicle may get EBD and dual airbag system. For entertainment, the SUV may get 2-DIN Head Unit CD Player with Tuner, MP3, Aux-Jack, USB, and Bluetooth with six speakers. The vehicle shall also get leather bolstered seats too. On the pricing aspect, it is anticipated to be offered for a price tag of around Rs 12-15 Lakh. More details regarding the same may be known at a later date.
