The much awaited Lodgy MPV from Renault finally makes its debut in the country at a lucrative price tag of about Rs. 8.19 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. Speaking more about the launch Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations stated that the new trim is indeed a - "breakthrough product that will redefine the benchmark of performance and convenience of the MPV segment. Coming with people centric features, its aggressive pricing will cater to a diverse set of customers".
Powered by the existing Duster's 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that churns out 85PS and 200Nm of torque, the vehicle also gets a powerful output from the same engine that generates 110 PS of power and 245 NM of torque. The top end trim comes mated to a six speed transmission, whereas the lower powered trim comes mated to five speed gearbox. The vehicle reportedly delivers an impressive fuel efficiency figure of about 21.04 kmpl on the lower powered variant whereas the powerful version returns about 19.98 kmpl.
The newly launched Renault Lodgy comes loaded with interesting set of features like electrically adjustable ORVMs, air conditioner with cabin filter, roof mounted AC vents for 2nd & 3rd cabin. Additionally, it also comes with features like Auto-pinch front & rear power windows, height adjustable drivers' seat with armrest, power steering, on board trip computer, cruise control, speed limiter and much more. For safety the vehicle comes loaded with features like Anti-Lock Braking System with Electronic Brake-Force Distribution, Brake Assist, Driver & Passenger airbags, engine immobilizer, central locking and rear parking sensors with camera. With a lucrative price tag, the Renault Lodgy shall soon emerge as a stong contender against the likes of vehicles like Honda Mobilio, Toyota Innova, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Nissan's Evalia.
