Finally, the wait is over and the dates for Delhi Auto Expo has been scheduled and announced. This mega event will be organised from February 5th to 9th, 2016. The location remains the same, the India Expo Mart located at greater Noida.
There was a shift of venue last year, to greater Noida from Pragati Maidan, which had created doubts in the minds of people. Contrary to what most of the people thought, it was a grand success. Some people were of the opinion that the increased distance from the main city might work as a hindrance for visitors, however, it was not so. The venue received exceptionally high footfall last year. There are chances that there will be an increase in the number of visitors as there is a growing perception among car lovers. New car launches are expected to take place, like Jaguar has announced that it will launch the XE sedan will make its debut at the event.
Also, the Auto Components Expo, as in 2014, will also be organised during the same period. Auto Components Expo is one of the biggest exhibitions of automotive services, technology and components. However, there was a growing feeling among manufacturers of components that its importance has decreased due to this step.
