Mercedes is planning to launch its new facelifted Mercedes A-class model that could debut at the “Frankfurt Motor Show” and it has been spotted testing on international roads. Recently seen in a parking lot, the facelifted car has a new fascia with a single bar grille that is flanked by latest LED headlights. New additional changes and features are hard to spot, but one can see a modestly revised taillights and a sportier dual exhaust system in this car.
The interior image of the model doesn't reveal much, but the cabin is expected to showcase a new steering wheel, revised switchgear and a newly redesigned infotainment system giving this a feel of extreme comfort. Engine options will likely carryover from the facelifted B-Class, so it is expected that a variety of diesel and petrol options including everything from single 1.5 liter four-cylinder with 90PS to unit turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder system that develops 211 PS & 350 Nm of torque is going to be featured in this model.
Expecting that Mercedes offers A-class in India as a CBU, it could bring the new facelifted model to people’s shores sometime after its international launch. The auto experts are eagerly tracking its inner configurations and design structure so that this model could generate more revenues into the elite A-class market of Mercedes.
