      Tata Indigo e-CS VX launched at starting price of Rs 4,97,727 lakh

      The country’s leading auto maker Tata Motors has launched a new variant of its most fuel efficient sedan – Tata Indigo e-CS VX – in the Indian market. According to the company, the Indigo e-CS VX is the most fuel efficient sedan in the country with a staggering mileage of 25 km per liter. The car has been launched in both petrol and diesel versions. While the CR4 diesel version carries a price tag of Rs 5,80,339 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the MPFi petrol version carries a price tag of Rs 4,97,727 lakh.

      For private usage, the company has offered a warranty of 18 months / unlimited kms. The launch of new Indigo e-CS VX will further strengthen the position of Indigo e-CS range of cars in the Indian market, thus offering a varying degree of options to the buyers.

      The Indigo CS sedan has been appreciated as the most compact sedan in the Indian auto market by the car enthusiasts. It has been among the segment leaders in the entry level sedan segment for more than four years now. The new sedan will be competing with the likes of Hyundai Accent, Mahindra Verito, Toyota Etios and Maruti Swift Dzire.

      Tata is currently one of the most diversified auto makers in the country as it manufactures a range of commercial and passenger cars. The company is also owner of British luxury car maker Jaguar and Land Rover, which it acquired in year 2008.
