      Sanjay Tripathi calls it a day resigns from Harley-Davidson

      The Marketing Director of Harley-Davidson India, Sanjay Tripathi, has submitted his final papers to the senior company officials on August 28, 2012. Under his tenure of around 3 years, the Indian division of the American motorcycle manufacturer, Harley-Davidson, has performed significantly well. Tripathi is also credited as the man behind introducing the culture of Harley-Davidson motorcycles in the Indian two-wheeler market through various events, namely boot camps, Harley Rock Riders Founders’ Ride and Freedom Film Festival in India.

      Tripathi also has a good experience of participating in various rallies across India, Japan, Europe and US and is best known for representing the Indian arm of Harley-Davidson at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Making his first official launch Royal Enfield 350cc bullet in 2001, Tripathi holds a vast expertise of more than 15 years in two-wheelers marketing department. He has also served several other auto majors of the country, including Honda and Yamaha. Tripathi played a pioneer role behind the launch of Yamaha's iconic models R15 as well as FZ16 and was also instrumental behind the success of company's top-notch bikes, YZF-R1 and MT01 in 2007.
