Riteish Deshmukh fined Rs. 100 for dark tinted glasses on his BMW

Riteish Deshmukh, a popular Bollywood actor and son of the late Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, has been fined by the Maharashtra Police for using dark tinted glasses on his car.

The ‘Housefull 2’ actor was fined by Satara Police for using dark tinted windows in his BMW. As per laws, usage of dark tinted filming in a vehicle is prohibited and if any person is found engaged doing the same attracts a penalty. As per reports, Satara Police ensured that the dark tinted filming on Riteish Deshmukh’s BMW was removed at the scene and the 34 year old actor was charged with a fine of Rs. 100. Deshmukh was slapped with the Rs. 100 fine for violation of traffic rules set by the government.

The popular actor is also an avid automobile aficionado and has a well decorated garage, including many high end sports and luxury cars. Apart from his BMW, Riteish Deshmukh also owns a Bentley Flying Spur, Mercedes-Benz S Class saloon and the Honda CR-V premium Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).

The gesture made by Satara Police force underlines the fact that nobody can be considered above the law and even high profile Indian citizens are required to follow the rules and regulations mandated by the Constitution of India.
