France based leading car maker Renault has unveiled its fastest ever car on road – the all new Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy – on Sunday. The super sports car is capable of delivering a peak power of 265 bhp and takes just 6 seconds to break the speed barrier of 100 kmph.

Besides a power packed 265bhp engine, the car is loaded with a range of performance boosting features including high performance Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires with 19” alloy wheels, Recardo’s sports bucket seats, carbon fiber brakes from Brembo, LED illumination and a futuristic interior. The car will be offered in two exciting colors including liquid yellow and black metallic.

In a bid to provide superior ride control on high speeds, the car is powered by dampers and stiffer springs. Moreover, the latest front axle from PerfoHub eliminates high speed steer torque.

The company will be producing only 500 units of the car, out of which 50 units will be featuring feature right hand drive. Carrying a price tag of £27,820, the car will be available for sale from July this year. The advanced bookings of the car will be opened on 20th June.
