Hyundai Motors India Ltd., the second largest car maker in the Indian market, is expected to prepone the launch of its much awaited small car in the country. The new Hyundai small car, that has been codenamed as H800, will be carrying an 800cc engine and will be competing with country’s best selling Maruti Alto. The Hyundai H800 is expected to be carrying a price tag in the range of Rs 2.5 to 3 lakh.
The new Hyundai H800, which was previously expected to be launched in first quarter of 2012, is now preponed to be launched in the fall of year 2011. The car is claimed to be carrying segment leading fuel-economy along with a considerably low carbon emission.
As per recent media reports in the Indian market, the new Hyundai car is currently in the final stage of testing on the Indian roads and will soon be rolled-out in the country. The car is expected to be a big hit in the Indian market, considering the high demand in this segment of cars. The new H800 is expected to become the highest selling Hyundai car in the country within a few months of its launch.
