      Renault-Dacia Duster likely to hit Indian roads soon

      Dacia, a Romanian car maker that is a fully owned subsidiary of the French auto giant Renault, is speculated to roll-out an all new SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) – Duster – in the Indian market in coming months. As per a recent media report in the country, the new SUV is expected to be named as Renault Duster in the Indian market.

      The new Duster SUV will be debuting at the upcoming Buenos Aires auto show in Argentina by the end of this month. The company has made a number of cosmetic changes in the new Duster SUV comprising of chrome finish at the exterior, a new center console, and newly designed interiors

      If launched, the vehicle will be manufactured at the Renault-Nissan’s joint venture facility at Chennai. The Renault Duster is expected to be priced in the segment of sub Rs 10 lakh, where it will be taking on with the likes of Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xyo and Scorpio.

      Meanwhile, Renault India is all set to launch its Koleos SUV in the Indian market in October this year. The Renault Koleos is a compact luxury vehicle which will be taking on the likes of Honda CR-V, Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Chevrolet Captiva.
