The Honda Amaze, which sold more than 1 lakh units since its launch, is Honda’s fastest selling car till date. The reason was clear; the public wanted a car which was good looking, economical and had a decent mileage. The Amaze has most probably been one of the most successful car launches ever.
Amaze has been the most successful diesel car from Honda, with a daunting category to enter, and boy! It has done so successfully. The Amaze has compelling features and will bring any car of the same segment to shame. Powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine, the Amaze has a price tag ranging from Rs. 4.99 lakhs to Rs. 7.55 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
HCIL has mentioned that Amaze has been its fastest car to cross that milestone in the diesel segment, ever since its inception in the Indian market. Available in 12 different variants, the car can fit any shoe size. It also has the option of automatic and manual transmissions. The models include E, EX, SX, S & VX. There are two for the automatic transmission variant, S and VX.
The car still has an enormous sales potential with the ever-growing dealerships of the company throughout India. The car took only 16 months to cross the milestone. Honda’s Senior Vice President, Jnaneswar Sen, has all good things to say about this milestone they have reached. Honda Amaze was the debut of HCIL into the diesel market of India.
