Inside, the car gets a dual-tone interior theme with faux wood and silver finishing. The top-end variant of the mini SUV will be equipped with reverse parking camera, in-dash music system, steering mounted audio controls, airbags and anti-lock braking system (ABS). Other features include a touchscreen audio system and climate control buttons on centre console, foldable centre seat, power windows, Scorpio-inspired instrument console and steering wheel, etc.

The production of the Mahindra S101 will take place at the company’s Pune-based Chakan plant. Expected to be priced around Rs. 4 lakh, the S101 will have no direct competitor as it will create a niche segment - the mini SUV - in the country.
