Ducati has gained an exceptional popularity among the auto enthusiasts all over the world. This time, Ducati is back to the market with the least costing variant of its bike that goes by the name, Scrambler. It is quite visible that this is the new generation Ducati Scrambler after the previous version that was released in 1970’s. The new Ducati Scrambler was unveiled at the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany earlier this year.

It is expected that this new variant will pull in some decent volumes for the auto maker. The new Scrambler is being said to be available in a total of four variants, namely Icon, Urban Enduro, Classic and Full Throttle. All of these will have different engine capabilities with Scrambler having the 803 cc L-Twin engine.

The dates of comeback are still under scrutiny, but it is strongly being expected that the bike will be seen rolling down the streets of India in the first half of 2015 with Ducati Scrambler to be available to the dealers by the end of January. Industry experts are of a view that with a large number of fans in the country, Ducati will be able to set new sales records in the subcontinent. The price range is expeted to start from Rs. 5.31 lakhs for the Icon variant while other variants can go till Rs. 6.20 lakhs.

The Scrambler will be the first Ducati bike on the streets of the country, which has led to the increase in the expectations of the company officials as well as the probable buyers in India.
