      Owners of Fiat vehicles from across India invited at Ranjangaon

      Fiat vehicle owners from different parts of the country were given an invitation to witness the complex manufacturing facility located at Ranjangaon in Pune, on 14th December 2012. More than 600 vehicle owners from cities such as Mumbai, New Delhi, Surat, Indore, Bengaluru Hyderabad, Mangalore, Goa, Chennai, Raipur, Dehradun, Udupi, Coimbatore, Thiruvananthapuram and Pune were invited for the occasion. 200 of the Fiat cars were present at the state-of-the-art Ranjangaon facility during this visit.

      Commenting on this initiative, Enrico Atanasio, Managing Director at Fiat Group Automobiles India Private Limited (FGAIPL) said, “In our humble attempt to reward FIAT loyalists, we have made arrangements for more than 600 car owners from across India to visit our state of the art Ranjangaon facility so that they can witness firsthand the technological process and precision with which their beloved FIAT cars are manufactured. We are extremely excited today as this gives FIAT a strong opportunity for consumer connect and engagement by amalgamating these FIAT brand loyalists into the unique FIAT culture.” The company aims to build upon the loyalty and respect bestowed upon by these owners to make FGAIPL into a world class auto manufacturer in India.

      One of the major areas where these visitors were taken was the FPT (Fiat Power Train) division. With Chrysler as a partner, Fiat India would be launching nine new models over the next four years, most of which were showcased through audio visual presentations at the plant. Global models of Fiat group Automobiles SpA, Italy were also shown during the presentations.

      To test the knowledge of Fiat enthusiasts, a short quiz was also organized amidst a lot of fun, which consisted of interesting rewards. In addition, a national referral program for 'Team Fiat India's' members was launched, which could help them get exciting benefits and rewards on Fiat products and services. A band of musicians played throughout the event, which was followed by lunch.
