Nissan, the Japanese carmaker, has recently announced that it will unveil the Sway concept at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. This concept will become the basis for the next-generation Micra for the European market that is set to launch next year. After revealing a teaser image of the Sway concept, Nissan has now released a teaser video of the Sway concept. The video reveals more details about the concept.
The video reveals that the Nissan Sway concept features LED headlamps and taillamps, muscular side profile. There are several curves and creases running across the length of the car; however, the production-spec model will get subtle character lines.
The next-generation Micra will be produced in France from next year. The hatchback will share most of its styling and detailing with the Renault Clio. If media reports are to be believed, the company will use an all-new name instead of the Micra hatchback. Few reports suggest that the India-bound model of the car will continue to be based on the existing V-Platform, whereas the global model will be based on a new one.
