      Nissan eyes improving after sales service and minimize maintenance cost

      After achieving zenith in sales month by month, Nissan is now focusing on improving its after sales service to build a stronger image in eyes of the customers. Nissan India has proclaimed launch of phase one of its customer service campaign christened ‘Happy with Nissan’. The campaign will begin from May 9, 2014 and will last until May 18, 2014. Camps will be set up across 66 authorized Nissan dealerships scattered in India in 54 cities. At these camps, Nissan will deploy skilled Nissan service staff that will check the Nissan vehicles thoroughly free of cost. Customers can also get their cars washed for free at the Nissan dealerships. Besides a free car check-up, customers will also be able to avail 20 per cent discount on labour charges, Nissan genuine accessories and Nissan Extended Warranty for vehicles in the warranty period. The trained professional at the Nissan dealerships will thoroughly complete 60-point check. Customers stand a chance to win movie tickets, shopping vouchers, Nissan genuine car care products and other gifts through lucky draw. Several engagement activities will also be offered for the customers.

      Through this campaign Nissan also wants to make customers aware of significance of authorized Nissan service centre and utilization of Nissan genuine spare parts and accessories. Making the announcement, Mr Kenichiro Yomura, President – Nissan India Operations said, “We are consciously working towards optimizing our after-sales service operations so that service wait time and costs can be kept to a minimum. This is one of our key priorities for this year.” Nissan also plans to induct more initiatives including a 60-minute express service at Nissan dealerships, 25 mobile service vans will also be deployed in May.
