Renault Duster has been in the thick of things for quite some time now. The new generation was launched in 2014 and it was quite a success in the Indian automobile market. However, SUV lovers have more good news waiting for them. The next generation Renault Duster will make an international debut in 2016, so says a report. The interesting part is that the new car will not be based on the Oroch Concept. An addition of a third row of seats will be available as an option on the new model. Accommodating more than seven people inside the new Duster will not only increase its appeal to the car lovers, but also freshen up the style of the brand Duster. Also, Duster might take one or two cues from soon-to-be launched Lodgy MPV and the Sandero hatchback.

On the other hand, the diesel engine comes in dual tune – 85 bhp with the five-speed manual gearbox and the 110 bhp from the six-speed manual transmission.

The petrol variant as well the lower diesel model comes only in two-wheel drive option. However, the higher diesel model comes in two different modes, RxL and RxZ which can be ordered as an optional all-wheel drive. The AWD on the other hand, AWD lock, auto and 2W lock, which can be conveniently switched on the fly.
