The new Generation Maruti Alto 800, which has been much anticipated among the Indian buyers, is speculated to be launched in the country on 16th October’12. This will be a complete new version of the country’s highest selling car Alto. With rolling-out this car in the upcoming festive season, the company is planning to give new Alto 800 a strong opening in the country.
The new Alto 800 is expected to be launched in the price segment of sub Rs 2 lakh where it will be taking its major rival Hyundai EON. It is to be mentioned here that since its launch, the Hyundai Eon is giving a tough fight to Alto, causing a major fear to the supremacy of this car.
Besides EON, the new Alto will also be competing with the top end variants of country’s cheapest car Tata Nano, which fall in the price segment of above Rs 2 lakh. The new Alto 800 will be launched in both petrol and CNG versions.
With a completely new look and more efficient engine, Maruti Suzuki is looking forward to regain its lost market share with the help of new Alto 800.
