Mahindra & Mahindra, the largest utility vehicle maker in the Indian market, is speculated to launch the all new face lifted Mahindra Xylo 2012 in the Indian market on February 8th. The new Xylo facelift is speculated to be named as Xylo E9, as per the recent media reports. Besides carrying a number of cosmetic changes at both interior and exterior fronts, the new Xylo 2012 will be blessed with a higher fuel economy and improved performance.

The majority of the facelift work has been done by the firm on the front portion of the Xylo, which gives an impression of firm’s highly successful XUV 500 model. The front profile of the Xylo model now offers more aggression with all new front bumper and newly designed grille. Other additions at the exterior include new alloy wheels with fascinating wheel arches. On the other hand, the interior will be blessed with new beige color interior theme and a number of cosmetic upgrades.

However, the engine system of the vehicle would be exactly same as before with two engine options including a 112 bhp, 2.2L mEagle diesel and a 95 bhp 2.2L DI diesel engine.

The launch of new Xylo face lift will strengthen the position of this vehicle in the Indian market, along with enabling it to compete more promptly with the likes of new Toyota Innova Maruti’s upcoming Ertiga model.
