      Mercedes-Benz opens the doors of 'Silver Arrows', its first store in Noida

      Mercedes-Benz India, the renowned German luxury automotive marque, opened the doors of a world class store in Noida, called 'Silver Arrows' on May 14, 2013. The opening of new Mercedes-Benz retail outlet is in continuation of the company's offensive campaign for the ongoing 2013 calendar year. The Silver Arrows dealership is strategically located in Sector 8, Noida and can be conveniently reached through the DND toll bridge. The state-of-the-art facility was inaugurated by Eberhard Kern, Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mercedes-Benz India and Rajiv Gambhir, Director, Silver Arrow Automobiles Private Limited.

      Expressing his delight at the opening of new store at the inaugural ceremony, Eberhard Kern was quoted as saying, “Delhi & NCR is one of the fastest growing automobile markets and the demand for Mercedes-Benz cars here is very encouraging. The launch of our state-of-the-art dealership in Noida is of much significance as we aim to provide the fascinating experience of owning the prestigious Three Pointed Star to our customers. With its world class infrastructure and the promise of service akin to our brand philosophy ‘Best or Nothing’, we are certain that Silver Arrows will address the needs of our discerning customers who look up to brand Mercedes-Benz.”

      The new Silver Arrows store took just seven months and an investment of INR 150 million for its completion. The facility is handled by a team of 58 highly trained and dedicated personnel, in order to provide hassle free sales and service experience to its customers, besides ensuring timely after-sales service. The world class store boasts of a dedicated boutique that offers lifestyle accessories, along with a plush Café Mercedes, a customer lounge, a drivers lounge and valet service. Further, there is a separate interactive bay that provides convenient financial services, along with standard service and spares.

      Rajiv Gambhir also said a few words at the inaugural ceremony of the new Silver Arrows store, “We are extremely proud to partner with the legacy of the Three Pointed Star in India. Delhi NCR is now one of the fastest growing and preferred corporate hubs and residential areas in the entire country which has seen a significant development. Silver Arrows will display a full range of fascinating Mercedes-Benz cars and our service station can service up to 14 cars a day and take care of all the requirements of our discerning customers. This facility adheres to the globally benchmarked standards of Mercedes-Benz and we are delighted to offer to our patrons the delightful Mercedes- Benz vehicle ownership experience.”

      Silver Arrows store is spread across an area of 42,000 square feet, of which the service centre floor takes 20,000 square feet. The top-notch service centre is handled by a team of 26 skilled employees and has a servicing capacity of 14 models a day. The workshop can take care of general repairs, body paint, accident jobs, spares, maintenance work and other services.

      Mercedes-Benz has the strongest sales and after-sales service network among other premium car makers in the Indian auto market. Following the opening of new Silver Arrows store, the German auto maker has 57 retail outlets in about 32 Indian cities, at the moment. Further, the company is set to introduce two models in May 2013 in the country. The Mercedes-Benz GL-Class facelift is to be launched on May 16, while the much awaited A-Class hatchbacks would enter Indian market on May 30.
