      Mercedes-Benz introduces a new application, iSales, to lure young buyers

      Mercedes-Benz India, the Indian subsidiary of the German auto marque, has come up with a new technological innovation by introducing the new iSales application, targeted to the young customers of the company. Reportedly, the company will provide Apple iPads to all of its sales consultants with inbuilt iconic iSales application. Through this move, the auto maker will provide a virtual access of its models, providing a chance to the buyers customise their favourite Mercedes-Benz model before actually booking the car.

      Commenting on the innovative programme of the company, Debashis Mitra, Director Sales and Marketing of Mercedes-Benz India, said, “In this age of globalisation our customers always want to be in touch with the world on the go, and our iSales platform will not only give them an access to the world of Mercedes-Benz but also they can virtually experience the fascinating range of Mercedes-Benz cars and customize accordingly their choices be-fore booking the car. Mercedes-Benz cars are equipped with numerous sophisticated features which will be explained in details by the iSales giving our customers no reason to compromise while buying the car.”

      He further said, “The iSales also enables our discerning customers to view Daimler Financial Services options and also lease returns without any hassles of paper work. We are sure that our sales personnel will be more connected now with the customers and prospects by the help of this amazing application. iSales initiative is an integral part of Mercedes-Benz India’s strategy to reach to our customers faster and fascinate them with novel initiatives. This interactive medium will truly be a world in itself and our customers will be able to explore the soon to be launched B-Class for the specifications and also explore its features.”

      The models offered by Mercedes-Benz are equipped with several innovative advancements on the technical grounds and with the company's new application, iSales, buyers will be provided with a complete knowledge of the models and accessories incorporated within it. Interestingly, the way selected by Mercedes-Benz happens to be the first such initiative selected by any of the car maker in the Indian auto industry.

      With its new application, the company will offer a 360 degree view of its models with advancements like customisation of accessories, colours, equipment and interior package. The buyers will be also provided with an opportunity to design their favourite models using different tools. The new feature of Mercedes-Benz also has a finance section, through which the sales consultants will book the model selected by buyer in a couple of minutes after their confirmation.

      iSales application is exclusively designed by the auto maker to provide a real time experience to its customers with smooth detailing and superior graphics. The luxury car major presently operates 72 touch points, spread across 31 cities of the country, and plans to expand 15 units each year.
