      Mercedes Benz will be rolling out a new sportscar which will be positioned as a replacement of SLS AMG. This new performance oriented vehicle will be pitched as company’s new flagship model. Dubbed, Mercedes-AMG GT, the new car will not don Benz nameplate. Spy images of the vehicle were leaked by Mercedes which has gone viral on inter-web. From what we can infer from the spy images of the vehicle’s interiors, it seems to be a two-seat vehicle, however the cabin space looks substantial.A three-spoke steering wheel will also be equipped inside the car. Like other vehicles from Mercedes clan, the new sportscar will also come with circular aircon vents. For convenience of passengers, a touchpad will also be equipped inside the cabin, this feature will enable to curb the center screen.

      Beneath the touchpad, a short gearlever will be affixed, this feature is proffered in AMG line-up and now will be passed on to the latest entrant in AMG range. Buttons are placed on each side of the gearlever allowing driver to switch driving modes, adjust suspension firmness and control various other functions including automatic start-stop, traction control and the engine starter. A mighty V8 motor will be housed in AMG GT sportscar providing ample power and torque output to run the beast effectively. Mercedes AMG will rival other vehicles in its segment including Porsche 911 and Jaguar F-Type.

      After SLS AMG, this would be the second vehicle to be developed completely by Mercedes AMG. Mercedes has confirmed that AMG GT will make its world debut during 2014 Autumn, rumours are doing the rounds that Mercedes could bring AMG GT to the 2014 Paris Motor Show scheduled to happen in October 2014.
