DC Design has announced a styling package for the top-selling Maruti Swift hatchback. Named as the ‘Kit Swift’, the hatchback gets an exterior and interior package. The complete modification package is priced at Rs. 2.65 lakh plus taxes, and the company will take about 40-45 days for these modifications.
The exterior changes include new front bumper that features new daytime running lamps and a new air intakes. The grille elements are finished in a black paint. At the back, the redesigned bumper is equipped with a large air vent. The interior changes include a new dual-tone white-and-red colour scheme. The lower half of the dashboard now features white shade. The upholstery for seats and steering are now trimmed in white shade; the other shade on offer is red. The center console and parts of door trims get red inserts.
Other than these, the interiors of the hatchback remains unchanged and it continues to feature the same music system offered in the factory-fitted car. Mechanically, the hatchback remains the same. While the petrol version is powered by a 1.2-litre K Series engine, the oil burner is the tried & tested Fiat’s sourced 1.3-litre multi-jet unit. Power is transmitted to front wheels of the hatchback via a five-speed manual transmission gearbox. The DC modifications will be done on both petrol and diesel versions of the hatchback.
