The largest car manufacturing company in India has always been in headlines for some reason or the other. Sometimes these reasons ask for the celebration while others are moments of dismay! But this time, the news asks for a toast from Maruti. They have launched their new version of their Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift.

Maruti launched this new version of their best-selling hatchback model a couple days back, and this launch was made exclusively for dealers at the moment. The expectation of seeing this car running on the streets is being made by the end of October. This new facelift model has been launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 4.42 lakhs for the base petrol model, Rs. 5.90 lakhs for the highest petrol model, Rs. 5.56 lakhs for the base diesel model and Rs. 6.95 lakhs for the top diesel model, thus competing with the previous versions.

Despite the new looks, the powertrain has been kept the same with a slight reduction in power. The Swift’s 1.2L petrol engine will now be producing a power of 83.1 bhp instead of producing 85.8 bhp. This effort is made in order to reduce the fuel consumption ad increase the mileage of the vehicle.

The maximum concentration is done on the looks and design of this model. A whole new car interior system with a new front face would be enough for the model to achieve the tag of being a facelift. Along with this, other minor adjustments have been made, and the earlier discrepancies have been removed. An addition of 12 spoke alloy wheels, Reverse parking sensors with display, etc. have been made in this model.
