People have been attempting all sorts of records. They have walked miles in order to fulfil that record but this time, it is something new. Sushant Shetty, an engineer at Ford Motor Company, and a resident of London, is planning to have one of the longest road trip, and that too on his bike! This bike enthusiast is planning a ride on his Suzuki Hayabusa, from London right to his native land of India.

He is planning to cross France, Turkey and Iran in the midway. If granted Visa, he would also be travelling through Pakistan, or otherwise, would take a detour and reach India through the roads of Arabia. Shetty is expecting to have a 15-day trip, give and take a couple days if he gets stuck in some legal issues of getting Pakistan Visa sanctioned.

On being asked about how he ended up with this wild idea, he replied that he had always wanted to travel from UK to India on his personal bike. He finally was able to devise this plan when he was in Bangkok. Shetty set feet on his bike and left London on October 25, 2014. He has got his return tickets booked for November 23, 2014, which he would board after spending some time on his motherland.

The Hayabusa, better known as the bike featured in the movie “Dhoom” among the kids, will be featured in India Bike week and will be shipped back to UK.
