Maruti Suzuki recently launched the new Swift Windsong Edition for a smart price tag of about Rs. 5.14 lakhs. Last year, fans were greeted with a similar trim last year, but this time around the speial edition is offered on the new faceifted version. The new 2015 Windsong Edition would be available in VDi and VXi trims.
As for the interiors the upholstery has been redone with new seat covers, illuminated sill guards, steering wheel cover, PVC floor mats and Ambient Lighting. The new music-themed body graphics on its side profile gives it a special effect on the exclusive white shade. The hatchback also gets black racing stripes that adorn the front roof and hood. A roof spoiler has also been added along with the new wheel cover design to give it a sportier appeal. Under the hood, the vehicle continues to be powered by 1.2 - litre K-Series petrol engine, whereas the diesel trim shall be powered by 1.3 - litre DDiS diesel. Both the engines have been mated to 5 speed manual transmission.
As part of its limited edition feel the vehicle gets Sony touchscreen music system that features CD/DVD/Bluetooth/USB functions. Based on Ex-showroom Delhi pricing, the Swift Windsong Limited Edition VXi is offered for about Rs 5,14,973, whereas the Swift Windsong Limited Edition VDi is offered for Rs 6,10,246. The 2015 Swift Windsong Edition carries a smart look that indeed makes it a great buy.
