Launched in September this year, the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso was introduced with a 1.0-litre BS-VI petrol engine. New images shared on the web reveal a test-mule of the micro SUV equipped with emission testing equipment.
The uncamouflaged test-mule of the Maruti S-Presso could be a CNG variant of the model that is expected to be introduced to rival the likes of the Hyundai Santro and the Maruti WagonR, both of which are currently offered with factory fitted CNG kits.
Currently powering the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 67bhp and 90Nm of torque. This engine is offered with a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit. The S-Presso CNG variant could be launched in India early next year.
