Maruti Suzuki's S-Cross has been one of the most awaited crossover vehicle from India's largest carmaker. Guests attending the IIFA Malaysia event were in for a pleasant surprise when the highly awaited S-Cross from Maruti Suzuki was driven on-stage. Auto enthusiasts have set high hopes on the vehicle owing to fact that this is indeed the very first one to be rolled out from the company's production line.
The one spotted at the event is likely to carry similar specs for the Indian trim as well. The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross unveiled at the event was powered by a 1.6 Liter DDiS engine that has been sourced from Fiat is capable of generating a decent 120 Bhp of power. Initially the vehicle would be offered in five speed manual transmission variant, whereas later it could carry a CVT transmission as well. The pricing aspect is unknown for now. However, it is anticipated to be offered at a price tag of around 7-8 Lakhs.
