Maruti Suzuki Ciaz has cast its magical spell in the domestic market. The India's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki further expanding its presence in the international market has now launched the Ciaz sedan in Algera at a price tag of about 1,299,000 Algerian dinars (About Rs. 9.27 Lakh), whereas the top end Ciaz AT has been launched for 1,399,000 Algerian dinars (around INR 9.98 lakhs).
Unlike in the Indian market where Maruti Suzuki sells the Ciaz sedan in Petrol and Diesel variants, the one sold in Algeria is just the petrol varinat that is powered by 1.4-litre four-cylinder K-Series engine that generates about 91.1 bhp at 6,000 rpm and about 130 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The fairly powered engine has been mated to optional four-speed automatic gearbox and a five-speed manual transmission.
Speaking on feature aspect, the Algerian Ciaz trim gets 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, remote central locking, integrated blinkers on ORVMs, power windows and stylish wing mirrors and fog-lights. As for safety features the vehicle gets ABS with EBD, and dual front airbags as a standard feature.
