Mahindra Scorpio has been a strong brand in the Indian SUV segment. The Scorpio SUV from Mahindra was launched in a new avatar recently at a starting price tag of about Rs. 7.98 Lakhs. This time around Mahindra has launched the new Scorpio in Nepal for NPR 2.57 million, or Rs. 22.14 Lakhs. In Nepal, Mahindra Scorpio is only available in three trims namely - S2, S4, and top of the line S10.
The new Mahindra Scorpio shall be sold in Nepal through CBU route and shall continue to be powered by 2.2 litre, mHawk diesel engine that delivers impressive power output of about 120 hp power at 4000 rpm and 280 Nm torque at 1800-2800 rpm. In Nepal market too, the SUV shall be available in five colors like - diamond white, fiery black, mist silver, new molten red and new regal blue.
Features like Bluetooth, DVD, USB and AUX-in capable 6 inch touch screen infotainment system shall be present in the Nepal trim too. Moreover, it also gets safety features like ABS, tyre pressure monitoring system and rear parking sensors as seen on the trims offered in the Indian market.
