The most notable change in the Scorpio 2014 is the front fascia, which gets a bold and straight upfront look. The all-black grille together with vertical slats and the brand logo at the centre has been replaced in the current unit. For a more angular look, the headlamp cluster has been redesigned. The model has been provided with blackened double-barrel headlamps, which fit magnificently in the front grille. There has been a shift of position of the new blinkers, which have move from the bottom to the sides. Daytime running lights might also be available on the higher variants of the facelift version. Muscular parallel lines along the integrated bonnet scoop and the revised hood retain the bold appearance of the Scorpio. Wider design intakes and a fog lamp cluster have been installed on the front bumper. The tail lamps are D-shaped with subtle changes to the gate. There are also speculations that alloy wheels will be offered on this facelift version.

Inside the cabin of the mode, the base variant lacked a plethora of features shown in the higher models. The interiors of the cars are still in black and beige; however the steering wheel has been replaced and made an all-black unit with no controls. No audio unit is available in the base variant, but a new touchscreen infotainment system has been installed on the higher model. The gear knob features the same all-black finish and hints of plastic accents can be found on the vents, control switches and the instrument cluster instead of aluminium.

Power window operations have been located at the centre, but there are speculations that it might be transported to the sides in higher variants. The major change in the interiors comes in the form of a third row of seating with significant legroom and a comfortable head rest. This might be a bonus for the new SUV, which has always surprised with smart features. The production process is fast in progress so that Mahindra is able to start deliveries soon.
